a lot of people would assume it to be bargs...but he clearly hasn't shown the clear leadership skills ... so i believe it should be derozan, young emerging talent with so much potential. and with amir and james johnson in the picture it'll be very interesting to see how the team is next year.
Definitely DeRozan. He's our spotlight player now getting most of the publicity recently as a Toronto Raptors player. With his skill, talent, and everyone's awareness of his young talent, I can definitely see him taking a definitive leadership role in the team.
Well, Looking at the stats, I believe the player with the most PPG should gain the spotlight, this would not only motivate the player to perform better, but in turn help the team win more games and perhaps get a playoff spot and a championship. Win-Win situation for all, including us, the fans.
numero ocho..jose calderon. straight up he's the only player on the floor who is dedicated night in and night out of not only playing a good game, but he's the one that hypes everyone up, screams at players, makes huge shots..and i could personally say that at the game last night, sitting courtside i heard every word he was saying, no other raptor could top.
Andrea is not a natural leader. Demar is not vocal enough nor is he mature enough to take on the leadership role. With that said, I'm gonna echo what Chubb says and say Jose should definitely step up and lead this young team. Now if only he can play defense...
