Definitely Demar was a contender for the #1 spot. However, I think that JaVale McGee should have taken it. Blake took it because of the fan voters. The dunk competition should definitely eliminate the use of props for the future.
In my opinion Derozan is the back to back champ. I don't even look at the past two champs as the real champs. In my head Derozan is the best dunker in the game today... so yeah Demar Derozoan should have won it!
Yes, Demar DeRozan should have won.

ReplyDeleteYah he should have won. The dunk contest shouldn't be about the props, but about the dunks!!
ReplyDeleteThere was a report coming out of LA Times that there was a highway robbery on the streets of LA on that saturday night. Victim: DD.
ReplyDeleteIf Demar made his first attempt @ his "East Bay Funk Remix" dunk, he would have at least gotten a 49. Tough love from the judges.
Agreed 100%, Demar fully showed that he was able to outperform Blake during his preshow PRACTICE !!! .. Definitely was disappointing
ReplyDeleteThat's alright, perhaps next year Demar will show them.
